The 2019 Tour reached its culmination last weekend, as our top 16 in both Masters and Intermediates made their way off to Shrigley Hall, near Macclesfield, to fight it out for the ultimate prize. The Masters consisted of twelve individual event winners and the best four “non-winners” – two losing finalists among them, and each a consistent scorer throughout the year. In the Intermediates, five had come the automatic route and eleven via points totals, with the Tour title being decided by just a handful of points.

UK Tour 2019: The conclusion
As 2019 draws to a close, it’s time to wrap up the biggest UK Tour so far and announce our winners…

Tour results: Double helpings
December saw the final two events on the 2019 Tour. First of all there was the BMAB Christmas tournament – normally BMAB events are truncated round robins where your opponents are known from the start; because this was a special one for the tour the format changed somewhat to be a five-round Swiss with room for 32 players, matches lengthened to 13 points to give the same amount of play as a normal BMAB weekend, essentially guaranteeing a straight knockout for the top place and a final against one other undefeated player in the fifth round.
