Clearly the lure of re-living “the good old days” – or was it Backgammonlondon’s policy of free registration? – was sufficient to attract 48 of London’s finest assortment of old and new players to The Princess of Wales Pub in Primrose Hill.
Hosted by Andrew Selby, with the support of the UKBGF, a seamless transition from the Hippodrome was effected, and a new venue appears cemented in the calendar.
“I am both humbled and grateful to the wonderful support and turn-out, and this only underpins the value of the huge investment of the UKBGF, and other Tournament Directors, in the ever-growing popularity of Backgammon.”
